This project is a selfish one, and our target audience is ourselves. You are welcome to listen in. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

In late 2008, we embarked on a project. Our original mission:

Three women once lived very closely together. Under those conditions they shared quite a lot, including a love of food, cats, design aesthetic, artistic sensibilities, etc. Now they are scattered and are no longer a regular part of each other’s lives. This project creates a link between these three lives once again.

In 2009, that first year, we each posted three photos a week. In 2010, we added themes with a few loose rules. We each posted one image about each of the themes: see, make, feel.

In 2011, we reduced the frequency of posting from weekly to monthly. We had grand plans of more involved projects. However, 2011 sort of fell apart. Maybe we expected too much of ourselves, or maybe 2011 was just a shit year.

3 women x 3 times per week

For 2012, we’re back to 3 times a week. We’re posting free-form entries and collecting posts from other sources. This format is similar to the first year, with the option to get more creative than just photos. Yay!
