Reaching out
Via Flickr:
I took a much needed day off and wandered around down town. The weather was very cooperative. Right after taking this, I decided to ride the streetcar home instead of the subway, and ended up walking 20 minutes when I just missed the bus. I didn’t mind.
No bread; no circus

This is the 2nd place where I used to take improv classes, that is now boarded up.

Brightly coloured mismatched socks. And one of them is INSIDE-OUT!!!

Now that we’re back to weekly postings to 3×3, I’m more aware of the beauty of simple little things.
This felt like a classic 3×3 picture when I was taking it. I like the feeling.
A splash of summer
This week I discovered some forgotten photos hiding on our neglected point-and-shoot camera. They were like a time capsule bursting with summer. I could almost feel the warmth and sun pouring out of the camera at me.
- Charming Michael, barbecueing
- dill pickles 4 ways
- home grown roma tomatoes
- kittens, when they were small
- peach salsa
- strawberry preserves, pickled cherries, pickled plums
standing still
The train stops.
I finish my make-up.
The train ahead of us is delayed.
I stand and let someone else have my seat.
I marvel that we are stopped in the one spot where we can see the light, the valley, the beautiful spring day.
Time passes and we stand still.
I take out my phone and line up a shot.
Just as I take the picture, the train begins to move.
